Gamma Alpha Chapter members and friends attended "Come From Away” Broadway's Award Winning Musical! This Best Musical winner all across North America is based on the true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them. "Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships." (Source: https://comefromaway.com/about.php)
Before the show, the group had gathered to dine at Sardi's Restaurant in the Theater District of Manhattan. The pre- and post-theater hangout is known for the hundreds of caricatures of show-business celebrities that adorn its walls.(Sources: http://www.sardis.com/htmldocs/cms/restaurant.htm and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sardi%27s)
